The Unagi Mountain is an exclusive new creation celebrating the opening of Unagi Yondaime Kikukawa in RCS, available for October 2026 only.
Don’t miss this dramatic centrepiece perfect for sharing! Featuring two whole kabayaki unagi atop warm rice in a striking tower-like formation, the Unagi Mountain is an indulgent treat for both the eyes and palate.
Known for its exceptionally fresh, melt-in-your-mouth live unagi, Unagi Yondaime Kikukawa continues to uphold traditional Japanese grilling techniques, using binchotan charcoal and a legendary tare sauce passed down through generations. Complementing each premium unagi is the sweet and aromatic Koshihikari rice from Uonuma, a mountainous region in Niigata Prefecture.
Unagi sets offering precision and craft
The menu also features two premium options which showcase Unagi Yondaime Kikukawa’s expertise in preparing unagi with utmost craftsmanship, heritage, and quality.
The Kabayaki Ippon Jyu Set ($48++) is a luxuriant whole eel presented in traditional style, expertly butterflied and grilled over binchotan charcoal. Savour the rich natural umami and sweetness of the soft, juicy eel with a crisp exterior. The Kabayaki Ippon Jyu Set is presented in custom handcrafted minoyaki tableware from Gifu Prefecture, one of Japan’s most important ceramic heritage styles.
A beloved Nagoya specialty, the Hitsumabushi Set ($37++) is traditionally enjoyed in three ways. Pairing fragrant grilled unagi with warm rice, diners can enjoy the dish on its own, or with condiments such as wasabi, seaweed and spring onion, and finally, with dashi broth to create ochazuke. Each serving offers a distinct way to savour the unagi, revealing new and subtle flavours with each bite.
Come savour this culinary experience of time-honoured heritage for your corporate lunches and relaxed dinners when you are in the Central Business District.
Unagi Yondaime Kikukawa is also at Shaw Centre.
