Savour the exquisite flavours of Hinghwa cuisine
Festival-goers can expect to savour over 30 Hinghwa delicacies, desserts, and drinks, made with the freshest and finest ingredients sourced directly from Putian, China. One of the dishes not to be missed is the Fumao Pork Puff Pastry, by Fumao Bakery, a traditional bakery that has withstood the test of time. The bakery has successfully preserved the recipe of the Fumao Pork Puff Pastry for over a century.
Attendees can savour unique Hinghwa offerings such as Pickled Olive Skewer, Tofu Meatballs with Pork Meat in Thick Soup, and Oyster Cake and Hinghwa Red Rice Cake that are filled with green bean paste, a symbolic treat traditionally enjoyed during festivities in Putian. Visitors will also be able to catch the complex process of hand-making these traditional treats on-site. These dishes are also rarely available in Singapore.

There will also be drinks such as the nutritious Red Mushroom Tea and Bayberry Tea with Iced Berry Cubes. Expertly curated and prepared by top chefs from China and Singapore, this culinary extravaganza promises an unforgettable and unique experience for visitors of all ages.

Attendees can embrace the rich Hinghwa heritage with a variety of crafts and specialities that are available for purchase at the festival. The festival will feature esteemed brands including San Fu Classical Furniture, Four Nobles Classical Furniture, and Tian Zong, which offer high-quality classical furniture made with timbre sourced from Fujian.
There will also be an array of dried foods of famous produce from Putian, like dried longans, a variety of tea to refresh the senses, Pei Pa Koa, also known as loquat paste, as well as preserved kelp.
Visitors can also delight in vibrant performances by Chinese and local artists and enjoy colourful performances by local and Chinese artists. Flying in specially to perform in Singapore, are the Putian Southern Temple Shaolin Monks and the Puxian opera troupe from the reputable Puxian Opera Theatre. Also, the Putian Southern Temple Shaolin Monks, whose roots date back over a thousand years, will put up action-packed and adrenaline-charged martial arts performances. Another key highlight is the Puxian opera, a long-lasting art form with historical roots in the Tang and Song dynasties.
